Complications

Let's face it, critical failures suck. No one likes them. Not only do you fail at what you were doing, but it can feel like a wrench gets thrown in the narrative.

So now crit fails will come with the option of succeeding with a complication. Crit fail an attack? If you take a complication, you'd succeed but something would go wrong. Maybe you attract extra attention from the surrounding enemies, or your sword gets stuck in your opponent. Crit fail a stealth check? Well, you could succeed, but now there are extra guards on the doors (they don't see you… yet).
